PROCEDURE AND REGULATION FOR THE TAKING-UP OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES

Clock signals are regenerated from transmitted bits from which approx. rectangular pulses are derived by threshold switches. A delayed clock pulse train is derived by a clock pulse extractor with pulse repetition frequency equal to the fundamental frequency of the received bits. The incoming bits are scanned by this clock pulse train at the approx. middle of the bits, and the regenerated bits are retransmitted through a timing switch. Retransmission of individual bits begins without delay with the beginning of bit scanning, and ends with the end of the corresponding clock pulse.
