The flooring panel is esp. suitable for use in making a temporary floor, as e.g. in a camping tent. It has a flat tread surface (2), bent back on at least two edges, one of which is given a distinct profile (3a), and the other a fitting counter profile (3). These bent sections are pref. on two opposite edges, one being roughly u-shaped with its outer shank (5) and the resultant slot-type opening (6) facing upwards, and the counter profile consisting of a shank (4) at right angles to the tread surface. Such profiles may be provided, alternately, on all four edges of the panel. It may be made of plastic, and formed in a single piece corrugated projections underneath pref. of a softer material. A number of such panels can be easily joined, to make up a floor.
