Stretching falst twisting machine yarn tripping device - with two yarn guiding levers effecting yarn movement between heating plate contact and out of contact position

Device for applying a thermoplastics yarn to a heating surface arranged between yarn feeding and drawing off rolers and associated yarn guides has the yarn guides formed as fulcrum levers pivotable about axes and provided at their free ends with yarn guides. Levers are pivotable such that the length of the yarn between the rollers is greater when the yarn is lifter out of contact with the heating surface. The device is useful in stretching and false twisting machines. Yarns are lifted out of contact with the heating surfaces which are controlled by a common device in a compact space without the use of complicated auxiliaries.
