摘要

In order to establish the analytical model for the three-dimensional bralded reinforcement of composites, it is important to determine the form of the cross-section and the projected section of the fibers in twisted fiber yarns under the influence of the fiber curvature and twisting. It is found that these effects are significant for winding angle that are larger than 40°. The section is changed from circular to elliptical form.
