The dray lift to cnveys skiers in paris, side by side, has a crank (11) which is rotated about a horizontal axis supported by a triangular frame (4) each side, to convey a gripping bar (12) forming part of the conveying member (13) for the skiers. On the cross bar (11) of the crank is rotary sleeve (14). To this sleeve is attached a draw bar (15) by means of a claw (16) at its end. The speed of rotation of the gripping bar is equal to th speed of the overhead cable. The cross bar fits inside the sleeve (14) with a spring loaded latch mechanism between them, which permits a smooth transfer when the skier is pulled forwards by the seat (33, 34) at the conveying position.
