The resistance heating foil is made of either copper or steel and has the strands of supply line connected to it by a special process. The spread-out strands of wire (2) are placed on the surface of the resistance foil (6) and then sandwiched between two stainless steel foils (4). Spot welds (3b, 3c) are made through the entire sandwich so that the wires are welded to one steel foil, both steel foils are welded to the resistance foil, and the wires are welded to the resistance foil.
