The firing target with electronic hit analyser has target plate and acoustic transducers. The latter are arranged about the target centre and convert sound wave generated by projectile into electrical pulses. The time differences of these pulses is used for hit assessment. Four rod shaped acoustic transducers (3, 4, 5, 6) are equally spaced around the target enclosing square (22). The opposite transducers generate positive and negative pulses for establishing the hit in rectangular coordinate systems with origin on the target centre axis (17). Each transducer has wires projecting over their length. One of these is connected to a fixed support and another one against a diaphragm. Between conductors is placed a resistor whose resistance is varied by pressure.
