Toy construction kit with a single type of construction unit and bendable adhesive flat connecting strips. The basic construction element is made as a plate (1) with three straight edges each enclosing an angle of (60 degrees) (2, 3, 4) and three curved edges connecting the straight edges at their ends (5, 6, 7). The curved edges are sectors of circles with their radius equal to the length of a straight edge and with their centre always located on an extended straight edge. A connecting strip (8) fits together only two adjoining straight edges of two adjoining plates (1). Preferably the connecting strips is provided with a self adhesive layer of material.
