Vestigial filter for double sideband signals - has stepped Nyquist side to characteristics and adds double sideband to single sideband signal

The vestigial sidehand filter, for double sideband signals forms the vestigial sideband by adding a narrow hand signal with two sidebands filtered out from the DSB signal to a single sidehand signal. One side of the filter's attenuation/frequency curve is such that no jump occurs in the degree of modulation. The side follows stepped Nyquist conditions. - The input is passed over two channels. The first contains a BP filter followed by an allpass filter; and the second contains a bandstop filter followed by a single sideband filter (EB). The outputs of the channels are added.
