The system is for production of profiled sections using planar ceramic plates. The still plastic ceramic masses (1) are in the form of ceramic plates, sucked down onto the profile section negative design by a vacuum pressure system. A hood (4) which acts as a mould for the profile section is provided, baked by a pipe (5) to a vacuum source. The hood has a flat rim (3) surrounding the periphery of the hood (4). The ceramic is carried on a flat work surface parallel to the hood rim and sealed at the edges.
