A method for frizz of a thermoplastic multifilament synthetic yarn

Multifil crimped polypropylene yarns are mfd. by expelling the yarns jointly with the heating steam through a nozzle into contact with the surface of a rotary brush roller to interlock the yarn with the bristles and allow for crimping, cooling and fixing of the crimp which is developed in random fashion and finally withdrawing the yarns from the bristles.
