The cavities between the cores and/or mould plate are profiled in a step or conical cross section, and fitted with ridges to provide a bonding surface for the rubber and the metal. The intermediate layers are developed during the initial injection phase to provide a self-centering and holding system for the cores, where a number of rubber or plastic bodies are shaped in the mould, allowing all imbalances and wear inequalities to be compensated for, and allowing easy core removal for wear or change of shape.
