Mechanism transmit actuating movements from an operating position to a remote rotating automatic firearm mounting, whose socket is connected by a rotating ring with the operating position. The purely mechanical transmission ensures that it can be operated manually or by motor or both driving methods can be used simultaneously. Within the rotating ring is arranged a ring shped first transmission component. This ring does not rotate relative to the operating positon but it can be lifted by a spindle. Ball or roller bearings are connected with the second transmission element so that when the first transmission component is lifted, then the second transmission element is lifted at the same time. The firearm is elevated by means of a second transmission element which carries a support structure connected eccentrically with the trunnion pin of the firearm.
