Signals are transmitted from a central transmitter to a number of points in a building. The system transmitters deliver signals in several adjacent ultra-long wave ranges to a line, and a radio receiver is provided at each receiving point. The transmitter (2) delivers signals to a power cable network (3) leading to each listening point (1) where a coupling unit (6) is provided through which the receiver (10) receives the signals. Each coupling unit (6) incorporates an induction coil (7) and at least one capacitor (8). The operating state on teh circuit is indicated by an illuminated lamp (5) which operates at a voltage of about 28 volts A.C.
