The device is intended for making and mounting multiple contacts in coordinate switches for telephone exchanges in the form of cross bar selector fields with adjustable selector and switching rails with coupling elements at crosspoints. A magazine (1) with chamber- like recesses (2) is provided for welding of the contact springs to multiple wires, which is used simultaneously for mounting the spring contact set in a housing of the coordinate switch. The magazine affords reuse after finished mounting. Preferably the magazine is an injection moulded plastics component, and a stop lug is injection moulded in each chamber, behind which engages a connecting stirrup between the right and left spring coil during mounting.
