Toothed veneer sheet interlock joint pattern producer - has counteracting pressing tools to produce teeth with rounded edges

The pressing device is for production of sharply toothed interlock or push in coupling edges in veneer strips. It has pressing tools (4, 5) with cutting edges which pass close to each other when the press itself goes through its upswing movement. One tool (4) provides the cutting edges to make the tooth sections of the joint, and the other (5) which moves relative to it, produces the empty sections of the joint. The pointed ends of the toothed and empty joint sections are rounded off with concave sections near the base.
