The cores of the cables are enclosed in an inner and an outer plastics or rubber insulating sheath, and the filler and stripping points of the outer conducting layer are covered with an insulating layer of epoxy resin. A piece (10) of a cut off sheath serves as a mould for the filler point, and a shrinking hose (12) is used as the mould at the stripping point of outer conducting layer (6) it is put on each core, and its lower end reaches into the mould (10), while its top end covers the stripping point and rests below it on a sealing ring (13).
