Gear change control for construction vehicle - with control valves directly linked to reservoir for fast response

The gear changes of the construction vehicle are controlled by a main control operated by electro-magnetic control valves. These control the setting of the main gear box as well as a group box for changing the gear ranges. The control valves are linked directly to the pressure reservoir so that a fast response is obtained, for rapid gear change, while the air losses to the system are kept to a minimum. The valves are of 4/2 way type, wit their closures operated by two magnetic valves which are in parallel.
