The hinge consists of two hinge arms (14, 15). The furniture body is fitted with an anchor arm (3) protruding and taken up by a recess in the top edge of the door leaf. The anchor arm has a U-shape cross section and the protruding part contains pivot (6) at the body-end of arm (14) and pivot (7) at the body-end of arm (15). In the recessed part (8) of the leaf pivot (10) at the other end of arm (14) and pivot (11) at the other end of arm (15) are fitted. The two arms become spring loaded by bow-shaped leaf spring (20), whose end engages a small protrusion (22) on the eyelet surrounding pivot (6), the other end is hooked into a small opening in arm (15). The spring force tends to bring the two spring ends together, giving a two-position action of the arm assembly.
