Sectional door leaf comprises a half-shell strip (30) arranged between the hinge connections (1a, 2a) of hinges (1, 2) and a spring (5) lying in the region of a spring and extending over the whole width of the door leaf and partially closing the gap between the spring and the edge of the inner-side edge of a groove (6) in the region between the hinges. Preferred Features: A seal joined to the spring is arranged on the base of the groove. Edge regions are reinforced by profiles which interlock with each other.
