The coffee percolator tubular heater is in thermal contact with the tube of the evaporator, and both are set in the hot plate. The design eliminates local overheating spots, and thus enhancing the service life of the heater by minimizing the deposition in the water tube. The reduced water inlet leads to an acceleration of the flow of the relatively cold water, and this contributes to a more uniform precipation of lime. The electroplated hot plate (2) of aluminium holds the tubular heater (3) and the evaporator tube (4). The cross section of the cold water inlet (5) is smaller than the steam outlet (6).
