Composite heat insulated layered building slab - with inside layer reinforcement providing thrust resistant inter layer connection

The composite building element comprises two covering layers, made of load bearing material, and an interconnecting lightweight reinforced inside layer of foamed plastic, the whole being monolithically effective. It is designed to provide the inside layer, which is heat insulating, with a thrust force-transmitting connecting capacity, while retaining simplicity of manufacture. The inside layer (2) reinforcement, accommodates tension and pressure forces and is connected with the covering layer material (1,5), with a thrust-resistant effect. The layer may be made up from several strata, with intervening layers of greater density, though pref. of the same material. The reinforcement may be in the form of threads (3) or chips of glass, synthetic resin or other material, embedded at random in the inside layer.
