A single or polyphase asynchronous machine with its rotor would for high starting torque as in the main patent, has a rotor winding which consists of a number of closed circuits, in which a first individual coil (A) or a group of coils is in series with a second individual coil (B) or a group of coils. They are staggered by one half of a pole pitch. The rotor is made of several parts, and the first individual coil (A) or group of coils is placed in the rotor upper slots, while second individual coils (B) or group of coils are placed in the rotor lower slots.
