Vaginal coil comprises an annular support and one or two rings or ring segments contg. the active medicament, made of synthetic matl. based on LTV silicone rubber elastomer. Pref. the support has one or two pocket-like peripheral cavities into which the active medicament passes. The rings contg. the active medicament are pref. fixed by vulcanisation onto the annular support. The elastomer used is pref. a mouldable substance with two LTV organopoly siloxane components contg. a silicone copolymer, and the active medicaments are steroidal hormones.
