The television camera system, records fast moving objects (e.g. 50 km/h) and sequences by 'stretching' the motion within the field frequency of 1/25 secs. by using an optical arrangement in front of the camera. This 'stretching' of the motion is achieved with two or more mirrors inclined at different angles to the camera axis and each reflecting the moving object onto the camera target. The arrangement can be used, for example, to record the landing point of a ski jumper.
