Cardiac pacemaker testing instrument - with quartz oscillator reference for pacemaker signal frequency in comparator circuit

The cardiac pacemaker testing instrument has the cycle of the pacemaker signal preset frequency compared in a comparator circuit to one of predetermined reference duration from a quartz oscillator. An alarm signal is generated on indicator when a deviation beyond a certain tolerance occurs. The pacemaker signal input is inductive or galvanic and the signal is transformed into a test impulse in a pulse shaper circuit. The reference duration is given by a digital counter coupled to the quartz oscillator with the counter reset by the test impulse. The instrument permits precise monitoring of the pacemaker over a long period of time.
