The device is for moving a rotary component where a gas-or fluid-controlled drive executes a translatory motion while an intermediate component performs motion conversion. The drive has an elastic bellows-type cylinder (12, 12', 12"). One end (13, 13") of this cylinder is held fixed and the other end (14, 14") engages on a pivot arm (16, 16'). The intermediate component has a toothed segment (18, 18', 18") which is fixed to the pivot arm and which meshes with a gear fixed with the rotary component. There is a single bellows cylinder (12) and a return spring (23) and these engage at the same point (22) of the pivot arm (16) between the pivot shaft (12) and the toothed segment (18).
