Machine for cutting moulded plate - has portal frame above table and slides with revolving disc cutters

The machine is used for cutting moulded components from plate material. The material is held on a table and a portal frame above the table carries a rig for pressing material against the table. A slide with rotating disc cutters is arranged on either side of the table. The component is cut and its edges are trimmed to the required shape on all sides simultaneously. This machine is used for cutting soft plastic material such as asbestos cement, or for making three dimensional multilayer components. The table (1) can be adjusted vertically, and transverse guides (7) are arranged on both sides of the contact pressure plate (24). Each guide has a slide (8) with disc cutter. The cutters can move in a plane at right angles to the rotating axis of the cutter. These cutter are spring-loaded in the direction of the table.
