Water separator for vehicle fresh air intake - with sandwich of fine and coarse mesh for min. airflow resistance

The air intake ducts the air to a sandwich of a fine mesh in frontof a coarse mesh. Both meshes are angled towards the airflow. The first mesh splits the air droplets into a fine moist which collects on the coarse mesh and runs down to a collecting tray. the meshes do not impede the airflow as much deflector plates, and the collected droplets are less likely to be dragged back into the airflow. For improved effect a second sandwich is spaced behind the first, followed by a water gutter for collecting droplets from the roof of the system. The water separator is fitted above the windows of buses, and can deal with a large throughput.
