Multispindle machine tool control - has cams for workpiece dependent functions on tool and workpiece carrier

The device is for path information for the control of an automatic multi-spindle machine tool which has a slide, a tool and workpiece carrier and cams arranged on fillets. The cams (9, 10, 11) for the workpiece-dependent functions are arranged on the tool and workpiece carrier (5). The cam (12) for the functions independent of the workpiece, i.e. where the position of the workpiece does not change - as at tool exchange stations is fitted on the slide (2). Those cams (9, 10, 11) involved in the functions dependent upon the workpiece are arranged on fillet (13) which is releasably connected to the tool and workpiece carrier (5).
