Flashing indicator for vehicles - has sine wave generator and RC circuit maintaining operation and flashing frequency even when bulb fails

A direction flusher unit particularly suited to road vehicles enables all remaining indicators to continue in the event of a bulb failure in one indicator. Also the flashing frequency is maintained constant and a warning system is included as a dashboard feature. Right side and left side indicator bulbs of a heavy vehicle and similar bulbs for a trailer are controlled by a sinewave generator with a signal shaped to a square wave. The sinewave generator consists of a transistor with an RC circuit. A relay coil is activated to cycle contacts to supply the indicator bulbs over gating transistors. Two additional bulbs are located in the dashboard and one or other stays off in the event of a bulb failure.
