Combined ski safety unit - has safety release binding and ski brake closely integrated together

A safety installation for both skier and ski consists of a safety release binding, ski brake, second ski guide edges and frozen snow iron. The safety installations normally produced as separate construction elements such as the safety release binding for the front of the skibboot and the ski brake are combined in a functional construction unit. A common construction element is capable of being swivelled around a transverse axis (3) located in front of the point of the ski boot. Those parts serving the safety binding as well as the ski brake are both fitted and attached with the swivelling construction element (4) itself partially serving to fulfill both functions.
