Coil assembly cutting tool - compresses wire:wrap connection turns on contact pin and cuts off projecting end in one continuous movement

The cutting tool, for coil assembly, compresses the turns of wire wrapped around the terminal pins of coils for e.g. radio receivers and then automatically cuts off the projecting end in one continuous motion. The tool consists of a hollow tube (10) that fits over the terminal pin (5) and compresses the turns of wire (7) as the tool is pushed axially over the pin. The cutting edge (13) is formed by a second tube (8) outside the first and moving relative to it. The first tube is spring loaded inside the second tube.
