Contact pin bender with two pivoted arms - has arms pushing projecting ends of pins with coil wires attached back into coil assembly

The contact-pin bending machine bends the outward projecting contact pins of a coil support up into the support/coil assembly. It bends the contact pins after the coil wire ends have been attached to the pin ends. The machine has two pivoted arms (9, 10) whose ends (11, 12) rest against the projecting ends (8) of the contact pins (5) in the support (4). The arms are pivoted to a slider that moves such that the arms are constrained to travel longitudinally and radially inwards thereby bending the pins radially into the assembly. The pins are curved when they are placed in the bending machine and they are bent into a straight alignment.
