Nap flame effect fibre prepn. - by mixing fine and less fine denier fibres and carding

The fibres are prepd. by lightly mixing short, fine denier fibres with high flock coherence with longer less fine fibres and carding on a drum with an outer engagement. The distance between the first carding drum and the conveyor drum is set at 0.5-1mm. The process needs no special apparatus and provides an excellent effect.
