Roller skate with foot plate - uses movable heel section to act as brake release moving against return force

The roller skate has a foot plate corresponding to the shape of a foot, and a brake unit. The heel section (7) of the foot plate (3) may be moved downwards against a return force, and is in connection with a brake unit (10). The brake has an actuator (9) below the movable foot plate section. The brake consists of brake jaws (13), positioned on a shaft (11), and movable against the running surfaces (12) of two opposite wheels (2). The axle may be turned by a lever (14) via the movable heel section, which acts as a release. The foot plate is retained on a lower shorter support (5), with a rear rounded edge (8), over which the heel section may be bent downwards.
