A bunker discharge system is for metering various quantities of dusty goods such as corn. There is a down pipe by which the goods in the bunker are kept within a filling height determined by a predetermined bottom level and a predetermined top level. The bunker is provided at its top end with a filling height indicator. The goods fall freely onto a discharge position located at the bottom end of the down pipe and provided with a closing device. The closing device is activated by the filling height indicator which automatically closes the closing device when the goods level in the bunker falls below the predetermined bottom level and opens the device when the goods level reaches the predetermined top level.
