An endless type file cassette is for use in a film viewer having a film strip or band support. A film gate is cut into the wall of the cassette itself. There is an additional aperture through which the film drive may engage with the film stop or band. The film strip (4) support is angled or bent relative to one of the wide sides of the cassette (2). The support for the film strip (4) is formed from a freely rotatable plate (3). Its rotational axis is angled towards two adjacent sides of the cassette (2). This arrangement provides an exceptionally simple drive for the film.
