The magazine holder (4) for the slides is located in a groove (5) in the projector and guided on rollers (7) set into the bed of the projector. The rollers support the magazine using grooves (6) under the magazine. The rollers are profiled to aid guidance and provide a low friction action so that small drive motors can be used. The magazine is tilted slightly to facilitate the slide transfer and to prevent the slides from slipping out of the magazine prematurely. The magazine is suited to glass slides with their greater weight.
