Pipe connection for thin walled inner and outer pipes (18, 14) has a flange (15) fixedly provided at the end of the outer pipe. The inner pipe has a uniform diameter unflanged end portion slidable into the outer pipe. A separate flange is slidable on the inner pipe into engagement with the integral flange of the outer pipe. A first clamp ring secures the separate flange (22) on the inner pipe, and the two flanges are connectable by a further clamp ring (16). The first ring may be flexible and may be clamped together with the second ring.
