摘要

The vehicle transmission clutch has a splined hub which is provided with a radial flange plate (15). Ring plates are located on either side of the hub flange. A circular set of friction elements is attached to one of the ring plates. Spacer bolts join the two ring plates through slots in the hub flange. A set of secondary friction pads (17) are located between the ring plates and the hub flange (15). They are under compressive loading due to a number of radial leaf springs. The ring plates and the hub flange are coupled by a number of circumferentially located coil spring. The relative rotary movement between hub and ring plates is thus braked by the friction pads (17) in order to dampen rotary vibrations.
