Plastic honeycomb for rearing bees - has cells of larger dia. than normal with downward slanting bases and slanting corner sides

The honeycomb is made of plastic instead of the usual wax, to rear bees of larger size. The dia. of the cells in the larger honeycomb is from 5.7-6.5 mm instead of the more common 5.3 mm. The brood food for the bees is inserted in cavities in the base of the cells. The honey comb is of injection moulded plastic, with cells positioned on each side of a central wall. The base of the cells slant downwards from the sides to the middle. The honeycomb is rectangular, with a cavity at the two bottom corners on which dron cells are built up of beeswax.
