The concrete reinforcement is in the form of a triangular cross-sectioned lattice-type support component and a reinforcing mesh (1) with rods running lengthways (2) and transverse (3) the ends of the support diagonals being bent over to grip below the cross rods. Here the support component consists of upper chord (4) and diagonals (5) without lower chords, and the diagonals ends are bent inwards. These ends pref. enclose an acute angle with the shanks of the diagonals. More than one reinforcing mesh may be hung in place. This can be used as it stands for non-static loads, as in bridge construction, and equally well for concrete structures without flat surfaces, without danger of tearing at the welding points.
