A coin acceptance storage and returning system is for vending and ticket machines. It has coin tester, and stacker tubes and guide channels. Coins of different face values are passed to the coin tester and coins of the same face value to stacker tubes via a number of guide channels. The channels correspond to the number of coins of different face values. The housing (1 to 4) of the conveyor elements assigned to the coins of different face values are arranged in a horizontal preferably straight line and provided with channel attachments (5). The channel attachments (5) are pointed upwards and are used for supplying the coins.
