The relay has an insulating plastic coil former supporting the winding and all individual relay components. Current carrying contacts consist of a massive, large cross-section material, and they are connected by a springy bridge contact. The bridge contact (1) is mounted in an insulating case, and consists of a bent spring (3). This unit is mounted at the end of a rocking armature (6) arm (5) parallel to the yoke (4). The contact opening force and the armature resetting force are provided by a U-shaped spring (7) inserted in the coil former flange. It is applied to an armature (6) projection, and provides the contact opening force and holds the armature on the yoke bearing.
