Enamelled cooking pan highly resistant to corrosion - has extra outer covering of enamel containing different substances from inner layer

The enamelled cooking pan comprises a metal pan of iron or aluminium lined with an enamel covering which consists of two layers. The first layer contains the usual constituent whilst the second covering layer contains some additions to these constituent parts. The additions are pref. 5 to 15% by weight of boron nitride and if required 5-10% by weight graphite but the coating does not contain any significant amounts of titanium dioxide. This enamel coating is much more resistant to mechanical and chemical agents than known enamel pans. The addition of graphite to the covering glaze helps to increase the non-stick properties of the enamel coating. After preparing and enamelling the pan in known way the second cover layer is produced by applying a paste containing the additional substances.
