Child safety belt has shoulder straps arranged so that simpler handling of the belt is ensured. The belt consists of shoulder strap (3) made in one length. One end (13) has a loop and connects to buckle (14) fitted slidingly on one part (2) of abdominal belt (2). The other end (20) is loose, but the length (4) is threaded through a similar buckle (14) and end (20) is threaded through eyelet (21) sliding on part (4) of shoulder strap. Between parts (3) and (4) of the shoulder strap retaining strap (8) is fitted and anchored in a take-up reel (9). The abdominal belt (2) is anchored to the side of the seat in point (5) and to point (6) at the other end forming lengths (2) and (2") connected by lock (12). On the loose end of part (2) the locking plate (12) with sliding eyelet for adjusting the belt length is provided.
