Floodwater protection wall with piles and plates - has sealed plates vibrated into position between driven piles

The floodwater protection wall is made by driving wall support elements into the ground. The lightweight profiles fitted between them and sealed ensures a relatively simple, economical and material saving structure. Plate profiles are inserted between the piles into ground at regular intervals. The plates are positioned by means of a vibrator held on a plate. The vibrator can be continuously varied and it is driven hydraulically. The vibration range is approx. 100 to 2,000 cycles per minute. Sheet steel plates or concrete plates can be used for this purpose. Seals made from thermoplastics or rubber are fitted into the joints between plates and piles.
