The extruded hollow brick incorporates hollow spaces, separated by body cross arms of equal thickness, mutually offset and extending across the heat effective direction, in the line of increase of the heat flow passage through the interior bodies. The hollow spaces are in the form of obtuse-angled triangles, blunted or rounded at the apexes. Here rows of slits (2) are incorporated, in addition to the rows of triangular hollows (1). There may be rows of slits at the brick edges, with spacing half that of the rows of triangular hollows so such a row in the middle of the brick. Grip holes, of the type leading to heat loss, can be dispensed with, while rigidity and durability are enhanced and thermal qualities are retained.
