The main board of the extension table is horizontally shifted on the table frame formed by longitudinal beams (2) and transverse beams (3). The beams feature guide grooves for lugs (6/6) of the main table board (8). The extension board (11) is normally beneath the main board (8) which extends between the table legs (1), and board n11) is moved out with its lugs (9/10) controlled by the horizontal grooves. Maximum length of the table is achieved when the main board (8) is shifted to the left and the extension board (11) is moved to the right, lugs (9) of the latter reaching the inclined guide grooves. This ensures a horizontal end position for board (11).
